Alternate history internet scamming for beginners Part 2

My correspondence with the delightful Miss Ascroft Hayley, in the United Kingdom of Brazil, continues this evening. I responded to her earlier:

Dear Miss Ascroft,

I am delighted to hear that! When do you think you will arrive? I help my father with his business during the day (he believes in educating women, thankfully, and wants me to take over when he is too old to run it on his own) but I can certainly look after you in the evening and on the weekends - it is so long since I have had a trusted female friend to rely upon. Of course I regularly check my correspondence, fear not. When do you imagine you will be arriving, and how do you expect to travel? The new airships that are coming out of Germany look just charming. Will you fly via Berlin? Europe is in such turmoil nowadays, but it is nice to take in the sights. What can you tell me about yourself? Do you have any hobbies? I like painting and archery myself.

Yours,

Elizabeth

Wonderfully, she replied! Sadly we are obviously not intimate enough for her to use my name(s). And she has some questions, or maybe instructions, about the food:

Dear
Thanks so much ,I will scan and send my pictures with other details in my next email ok,now that I am preparing to come,I hope I could cope with the weather conditions and the kind of foods available,I’ve never traveled to that part of the world before because I did not have that opportunity, anyway I like to socialize and adapt to a new system quickly,I know that it is not just easy for one to go to entirely different environment but I hope that I can do it without much stress.

Please tell me more about the weather conditions.I also want to be assured that the security situation is not that bad, I want to feel more secured and comfortable .Although I know that some hotels there can serve good western foods but if possible I would want to learn the local language and eat the common traditional food when I come .However I personally like grilled and pan-fried meats such as beef steaks ,pasta, vegetables fruits and chicken chops or cutlets and sausages. It can be often served with French fries, salads, shrimps and fish, slices of cucumber/tomato, baked beans and a piece of bread (with butter; rarely toasted garlic bread). Most stalls will provide a simple soup (usually mushroom).

As you may know the  climate of most European countries is temperate and oceanic, and tends to be very changeable.Winter maximums average 6 °C (42.8 °F) in the lowlands, with summer maximums averaging 18 °C (64.4 °F). The highest temperature recorded was 32.9 °C (91.22 °F) .Security of lives and properties are not 100% guaranteed but the security operatives are always on alert 24 hrs to respond rapidly to any eventuality or emergency calls.Crime rate is reduced to the bearest  minimum and natural disasters hardly occur. However God in his infinite mercies protects all of us.

I await for your reply

Regards
Ascroft

I think she might have some problems with the food in 1930s KL, but one must do what one can.
