My only complaint about Spanish artist Yolanda Dominguez ‘s video work Poses (she actually calls these pieces “livings” in order to describe their relationship to the public) is that is does not include my favourite stupid fashion pose, the hands-on-hips-elbows-thrust-forward-shoulders-hunched look, which makes even 17-year-old gamine Slovenian girls look like well-dressed Quasimodos, so why the glossies think it’s a good way to flog haute couture is beyond me, but there you go. I buy my clothes off eBay, anyway.
